try garnier fructis smoothing milk.

i've heard that washing your hair at night and sleeping on it is suppose to reduce frizz. it's worth a shot.

blow drying helps, too.

if it is wet you blow dry it with a blowdryer

use a good straightener. if you want it straight. curly.. put it back into a giant clip while its soaking without towel-drying and then let it air dry. then remove the clip.

After you wash it, use conditioner but don't rinse for a couple minutes, and when you do leave some in, this will add some weight and keeps your hair from separating into strands that dry out and become "poofy". Use a good water based medium gel and use a little extra at the back and sides where it goes poofy. If its very hot and humid use more than your regular amount for sure.
