How to comb your hair back! like my avatar!!?

Im 15 and a male i don't have gel and a hairdryer. I have hair spray and mousse and My hair is 40 mm long and every time i comb my hair back and put hair spray and mousse it just gets puffy it only works a little.

How to comb your hair back! like my avatar!!?

You need to either mixed the mouse and hairspray together into your hands first and then run through hair, or visit and store and get some flexible gel or pomade.

How to comb your hair back! like my avatar!!?

Take a trip to the dollar store %26amp; buy some gel. That will keep your hair from getting puffy.

How to comb your hair back! like my avatar!!?

mousse is supposed to make it fluffy, try hair grease or pommade if they make it, like on o brother where art thou, that's what they used in the 3os when that was trendy.

How to comb your hair back! like my avatar!!?

You need gel, mousse is not enough to hold it back. Try Bed Head, Got 2 B Glued or something like that.

Natural hair?

i have really curly hair and it gets like kinda poofy when it dries so how can i wear my natural hair?? i've already tried crumping gel and it doesn't work so please don't say that.

Natural hair?

You can add a lil melted shea butter, or elasta qp mango butter to it while wet.. then braid it in big sections and either let it air dry, or sit under the dryer... take it down and it should be more wavy than poofy, and more stretched out and defined.

Natural hair?

massage with wheatgerm oil

Natural hair?

lots of things u could go to the daminican to get it straightened while its still natural or u could carry some shea butter to mostureize it

Natural hair?

Well, you pretty much already said it-- it dries poofy. If you don't like the way it looks when it dries, %26amp; you don't like scrunching it with gel.. then you cant wear it curly or you wont like it.!! I like mousse, it's so much lighter than gel maybe you can try that.

Otherwise, you can always try a de-frizzing serum %26amp; THEN letting your hair dry natural, or you can try straightening it.

I think curly hair is beautiful, I can't believe you don't like it.. Good luck with it.!

Natural hair?

iso tamer works really good for me

Natural hair?

i have curly hair 2 so i know what u goin through so i 'd say get cornrolls into a curly pontail

Natural hair?

try out a leave in conditioner and when it dries a little bit of moose

Natural hair?

i dont think u can. so just blow dry it strate?

Natural hair?

I have real poofy curly hair too, so I can relate.

I've tried everything (even the clumping gel thingy)

Then I found my solution, Garnier Fructis. All their products work really good on frizzy curly or unmanageable hair.

Now I wear it down naturally and it looks really nice. I was surprised. You will be too. =)

Natural hair?

just live with it girl..why dont you try to improve your curls instead of trying to get rid of them..curl is hot trust me..

Natural hair?

You need to use something that keeps the curl firm or hard. You say you don't like to use gel, I can't think of anything else that will work. You could try a balm or cream and smooth it onto your hair. One thing you can't do is once you put the product into your hair and you are satisfied with the way your hair is laying, KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR HAIR until its dry. If you keep fussing with the hair while it's drying, your hair will keep getting bigger and bigger until its all poofed out. My hair does the same thing, I end up with Bozo hair if I don't keep my hands out of it. I also let my hair dry naturally, no blow dryers, that causes pouf also. Once my hair is dry, I flip my head over and comb through with my fingers to separate the curls and then flip it back and my hair looks wonderful, nice smooth curls, but no pouf.

Thick, wavy hair, help!?

i have thick, wavy/frizzy/poofy hair, and a lot of it!!

i need a haircut that:

-is easy to take care of (i have to get up at 5:30 am, have 15 minutes to get ready and out the door, no time to waste on styling hair)

-doesn't involve mousse, gels, etc., (because of my skin i can't put any products in my hair)

-is short (not pixie cut, but something like a bob)

i know this is probably a lot to ask, but any pictures/advice would be VERY appreciated!

PS-don't worry about my face shape/hair color. i've been told my face can pull off a great deal of cuts, and i change my hair color a lot.

HAIR HELP! what kinds of things can i use for my hair if my hair is relaxed?

You can use all the products you want but they will only damage your hair. Some good things to use are home made that way you know what you are putting in your hair. And you don't have to wonder what a certain chemical(that will only damage your hair) is. I looked up a website for you. It gives you recipies on how to make your own products at home. Hope it Helps.

Hair Removal Methods (GIRLS' QUESTION)?

1)Can someone name every single method they can think of, please? And if u have thick hairs on your legs, how do u get them to not show these hair dots? HELP ME!

2)And is there any hair removal creame or gel that's ESPECIALLY for the pubic area that doesn't cause irritation?

3) Lastly, what are some tips for caring for the skin on your legs?

Hair Removal Methods (GIRLS' QUESTION)?

nair always does wonders for me when i shave

Hair Removal Methods (GIRLS' QUESTION)?

Honestly.... the best (but expensive way) is to laser it off. It will take about 10 sessions over 1.5 yrs and the hair gets thinner and lighter as you go and eventually dissappears for ever...leaving you with baby soft skin. I love laser if you can afford it.. nothing compares.

Hair Removal Methods (GIRLS' QUESTION)?

use mens shaving cream/razors

trust me, they work so much better then women;s

Is it true that petroleum jelly is harmful to your hair?

That's what somebody told me. She said it increases hair breakage. But yet she flat irons her hair every day.

If it is true that PJ is harmful to your hair, I'll stop using it. Since I'm African American with hair that's sort of coarse, thick %26amp; kinky when uncombed %26amp; wavy when combed out thoroughly, which would you recommend I use? Hair lotion? I know gel is bad for your hair, but I heard that the thick gel with protein is good. %26amp; 1 hairstylist told me I should never put my hair in a ponytail, but that's the only style it looks good in. It would turn into a 1/2 straight fro %26amp; not look right if I wore my hair down %26amp; wavy. I can't get perms (relaxers) because of my skin condition. Is flat ironing OK? What do you recommend I do to my hair? I'm tired of the same ol' same ol', %26amp; I'm ready for a change. Any ideas?

Is it true that petroleum jelly is harmful to your hair?

This is going to be really long but I'm putting EVERYTHING I know into this!

Ok well despite the other 2 answers I am African American too. I heard PJ was good for your heair because it moisturizes it. My hair started breaking off ALOT about 2 years ago because of a perm my stylist used My hair got really short like shoulder length so I started greasing it with African Pride groth grease it stopped breaking so much. The one day I ran out so I used PJ and it worked wonders! My hair doesn't come out anymore. I still use and I have been for about a year. It makes your hair shiny and healthy looking. Its espcially best to put it on after washing your hair. Grease does take a long time to dry so expect to sit under the hair dryer for a longer period of time. But if you're REALLY against PJ I suggest using any type of groth grease like African Pride. My hair is long and thick and I use Hair lotion (Pink, Motions, or any kind), Mousse (preferably a foaming one I use Motions or Proclaim), and PJ ONLY after I was it I don't grease my hair everyday. Gel is bad for your hair and actually reverts it (which means makes it nappy faster...which means you have to get a perm sooner). Nothing is wrong with ponytails its just what you use to hold them. Don't use rubber bands or anything like a rubber band it take your hair out...Use a soft scrunchie or a hair clip. Flat ironing is great! Just make sure you know what you're doing I know alot of women who burn their hair because they don't know how to use it. Go to a stylist that's a professtional or even to a beauty/cosmetology school. They have stylist that are in school who are willing to do your hair and tell you how to take care of it for a small price...Oh and another thing try to not switch stylists so much. Every stylist is different and every stylist learns different things. Stick to one stylist to take care of your hair and a stylist that knows your hair. And whats bad for one persons hair maybe great for another so don't listen to what other people say. Get a professional opinion! Since you can't get perms have you tried a hot comb or something like that? Ask a stylist about it! Try micro braids! They are sort of expensive depending on who you go to but they are well worth it. They last for about 3-4 months and look great on just about anyone! Ok I'm FINALLY done! Good luck! =D

Is it true that petroleum jelly is harmful to your hair?

Petroleum Jelly is used as a barrier for nappy rash so I'd quit using it immediately. Hair straighteners are fabulous for a nice new look however they can be harsh on the hair but most people don't mind to have the great straight look. Gel is more suitable for short hair, for a stronger hold hair wax or hair puddy (sold at hair salons) will give you a more defined look that lasts. Hair gel has a tendency to cause an increase in dandruff. A nice large curl brush can be used whilst blow drying to give you a soft curl look, there are many ways to wear and style your hair even with thick curly hair.

Is it true that petroleum jelly is harmful to your hair?

hi..!!!

i really don't know if PJ is harmful coz i never tried using it.

what i know is PJ is good for the lips.

'bout ironing your hair...well i iron my hair everyday.and my mom used to scold me 'bout that.we even argued.

but hey it makes my hair more easier to manage!i think it just depends in what brand the iron is...!

Is it true that petroleum jelly is harmful to your hair?

patroleum jelly is harmfull to most everything, one can build explosives from it. it is a by product from creating gasioline, and yes it increases hair breakage because it is asidic based and depleates nutriants, so if you dont want to put your head at risk as a fire hazard don't use it. DON'T FLAT IRON !!! best bet is to go with vitamine enrich lotions.

Thick carpet like hair.?

My grandson is seven, he has thick coarse carpet like hair, what and how should we manage his hair. He is the only one with this kind of hair in the family. Its pitch black has no style, no matter what we use, gel won't even hold his hair in place. Help.....

Thick carpet like hair.?

You need to keep his hair cut to a bald fade. The last thing you should do is put a bunch of grease and pomades in it. They will just make it gummy and it will collect dirt.

I also suggest 'blowing out' his hair. There are kits for men with thick hair that loosen the texture. There are also texturizers. I do however suggest you take him to have it done professionally. Trying the 'kitchen beautician route may have a bad outcome. Plus... at the shop they are the professionals and will be liable for mistakes.

Since he is 7... there is also the option of french braids, cornrows, and dreadlocks. My hair is locked and I love it. Just because it is thick and course doesn't mean there are no natural hair options. Check it out!

Thick carpet like hair.?

A really good stylist

Thick carpet like hair.?

try a shorter style and thinning it a bit, use some strong hold gel

Questions about my hair.?

1. What is a good hairstyle for black, medium to long, and medium thickness hair?

2. How can I keep my hair straight without using gel? People say use a blow dryer, but how do I use it. When I use it my hair gets all frizzy and messy.

3. How can I prevent parts of my hair from going up when I'm sleep, because it's up in the morning after I when up?

4. Is there a way to make your hair grow faster, if so how?

Answer much as possible.

Questions about my hair.?

blow dry your hair in a downwards position holding blowdryer over your hair to keep it smooth use some gloss drops or paste using products will give you the best results

Questions about my hair.?

My hair started falling out from too many chemicals. My hairstylist told me to take prenatal vitamins to make it grow faster

Questions about my hair.?

You can get and attachment for your blow dryer that looks like a comb.. it just snaps right on and it helps straighten your hair. Then you should flat iron it, you don't need to use gel to keep it straight.

Do you sleep with a scarf or anything around your head? this will help with keeping your hair in the style you want it. Like a silk scarf or a bandana.

Prenatal vitamins help with hair growth and Nioxin shampoo %26amp; conditioner help too. Hair grows about half an inch a month for some people it can be more.

thats all i've got for ya.

Questions about my hair.?

1. i would probably say either really staright or wavy curls.

2. use a gel with silicone in it to make sure that it stays flat. when you blow dry it, make sure you point it downward. becasue when it goes up it makes your hair stay up as well.

3. this is what i do because i had the same problem especially with my bangs. get a bandana or a head scarf and wrap it around your head. it will keep your hair flat onto your head and the heat form your head will ensure that it stays that way.

4. i don't think there are ways to make your hair grow faster. i suggest trimming it often to make sure that all of it is healthy. because once the ends break it goes all the way up the strand.

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

my hair is really dry and i need something to give it a wet look! i dont want anything to make it oily or greasy when i touch it. i just want something to keep my hair looking wet like if i just came out of the shower.

i heard about aloe vera gel but i dont know where to buy it. i live in pennsylvania, US and want to try it out. could someone tell me what would be the best product for my hair? or where to buy aloe vera gel?

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

You can buy aloe vera gel anywhere from walmart to walgreens but i wouldn't put that in hair. If anything start off with a great moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, try head and shoulders smoothing formula, its in the pink bottle, or pantene proV smoothing shampoo and conditioner.

If you want to give it a nice shine and smooth look and feel go buy Biosilk Silk Therapy. It'll work a lot better than aloe vera gel.

or a less expensive kind, Garnier Fructis smoothing liquid.

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

the best thing is to ask a hairdresser

they will know how to help you

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

Use frizz-ease you can get it at walmart. and also use herbal essence scrunching gel with it and the shampoo and conditioner the purple one. you will get nice results.

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

Use some conditioner and just leave it in, like you would hair gel or moove.

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

well, any type of gel , will generally give "the wet look" , if you smooth all thru your hair , when it is wet/damp. One that is good is Fructis , Hard Curl - is in a clear-ish/green-ish tube.

But why do you want to have your hair have that wet look...it looks greasy....or dirty.

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

ask someone in the chemist or ask ure local GP i am sur it is something 2 do with stress

Hair moisturizers for dry curly hair?

I would have to say shampoo and conditioner your hair. Towel dry and then use a small dollop of blu magic hair grease that has benn warmed in your hands. Start at the roots and pay special attention to your ends. Your hair will suck up the grease while giving you that sleek just got out of the shower look.

Help with thick frizzy hair...?

I have thick frizzy hair and I what a product that can tame it... but not a shampoo... I don't have the time or money for 'frizz ease' treatment. I just want something to lessen the frizz like a gel that can be put on to dry hair. I am a college student so I can't have anything too pricey either...

Help with thick frizzy hair...?

I'm a college student too and I have the same type of hair. I use Tresemme Anti-Frizz secret creme. I just run it through my hair while it's still damp then blow dry it and its amaxing!! Not to mention it's like $4.00.

Help with thick frizzy hair...?

Ummm try a home-maid deep conditioner.look it up on the net

Help with thick frizzy hair...?

phytodefrisiant is really good, its natural and it makes your hair soft

Help with thick frizzy hair...?

try mayonaise

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

Pomades are too heavy and make my hair look dirty. Gels are too stiff. I like to be able to run my fingers through my hair. It's sexy and gets the guy's attention!

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

Wash your hair at night then put it up in a pony on toward the middle of your head. Also try using Johnathan Antins DIRT, its a light pomade. If it makes your hair look greasy, then you are using too much, you need very little for the entire head.

Apply the dirt and in the am after taking hair pony out. Bend over and apply the dirt to the roots and ends, finger combing your hair and then toss your hair back and u should be good to go.

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

If your hair is like mine, you need only to shampoo at night--the next morning you will have the look you seek.

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

use the products that actully say bed-head.

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

yes.

use the hair thingy.

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

It's really tough to get that look with straight, fine hair, especially if you want to be able to run your fingers through it.

I've found that using hair "glue" in small quantities can give you this kind of effect. You need to put some on just your finger tips so that you're not putting too much on

Is it possible to get a messy bed-head look with straight fine hair? What products would I use?

Yes!! Although I do have some wave to my hair, it is still possible to do this.

What I do is wash my hair at night and then I put mousse or gel in it and scrunch it up. Then I sleep on it and it dries in like this sorta flat, wavy thing. Then in the morning, I take a curling iron to the waves to define them. I hope this made sense.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspr

I use gel and hairspray everyday in my hair because my hair is very frizzy specially in the florida climate and I can't get my hair taimed without it. Lately no matter how long I scrub, gel, hairspray or shampoo I use, I can't get my hair to clean throughly. I don't even were my hair down anymore because it looks like I have danderuff but I don't don't. any advcie.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

Neutrogena Anti Residue Formula

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

treseme is reallly good and so is herbal essences with cleaning and good scents but theyre kinda costly .

suave is a cheaper brand and it works just as good with getting all the gunk out. and if u get the right scent, it smells reallly good

whatever you do, dont get Dove. it doesnt get any thing out. i put pomeade in my hair for the first time and used too much. since i was on vacation i only had one type of shampoo and it was dove. my hair was slick for days until i bought a diferent brand.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

Denorex even though it's primarily for dandruff.. That stuff can nuke anything in your hair.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

This is going to sound really strange, but dish soap gets product build-up out really well. Its NOT for everyday use. If you use it about once a month it does a great job!

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

Neutrogena clarifying shampoo.

It's made to get rid of build up from gel and sprays.

It'll take everything out so make sure you use a good conditioner with it.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

I find anything with a strong citris type acidic shampoo cuts through hairspray and greece pretty well. Then if you get it with something like aloe or nutrient building vitamin it will help put health back into the hair caused by the strong acidic base.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

Here's a trick that will cost you about a dollar.....Take baking soda (Arm%26amp;Hammer) and water and make a paste out of this. Scrub it all over the hair and this will remove all of the debris from hairspray and gel. Then wash with your normal shampoo. A stylest gave me this tip a while back and it worked for me and I still use it.

Good Luck.

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

u don't need shampoo u need a rinse of lemon juice and water or white vinegar it removes build-up.u may have to repeat several times at first if lots of buildup. comb after each time to remove the flakes

What is a REALLY strong shampoo that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to clean out gel and hairspray build up?

i used to have build-up too. i use tea tree shampoo and it works really great. it only costs around 8-12 dollars too. the first time you use it, when your done with your shower, put it in, and leave it in for 15 minutes, then take it out. the rest of the time just use it like shampoo, but dont replace your regular shampoo with it, just use them both.

i hope i could help!

I have thick curly hair?

So Ive had the same hair style for years which buzzed off because I cant do anything else with it.The only thing that ever worked was Dippity Do hair putty which is no longer made.Any thing that wets the hair like mousse or gel will only make more curly.Ive talked to hair stylist while getting hair cut and all the stuff they recomend doesnt work.my hair is to short for flat irons.I would really like my mohawk back or some thing similar please help

I have thick curly hair?

damn dude just listen to your damn hairstylist. thats what he is for that was confusing as hell. just i wish you the best of effing luck with your hair haha

I have thick curly hair?

hair stratners at drug stores.

I have thick curly hair?

I have medium-thick curly hair. I found that mouss and all that really makes it crunch and curly. What I do now is simply drench it in leave-in conditionner spray and it makes the curls SUPER nice, good smelling, and soft.

As for you wanting a mowhawk - I'd suggest blow drying your hair upside down, angling the drying so your hair comes toward the middle. Try using Got 2 Be Spiked - that stuff is crazy thick and would most likely do the trick. Good luck man. Curly hair is really tough to work with.

I have thick curly hair?

I recomend you use a relaxing balm, serum or cream. You need something heavy but not hard.

I have thick curly hair?

Get regular Perm solution and comb through your hair, follow directions, how long to sit on hair ,rinse etc and your curls will relax to just about straight.

Hair color?

i wanted to color my hair from box. i know its from the box but im broke and i wanted to color. well i always did it, but i always questioned on before doing the color. well they say always color your hair being unwashed. well what if i had gel or cream etc. in my hair from the day before. can i still do it? would there be a difference. some brands say to color with no chemicals but ht e one i got doesnt sya it. its garnier.

Hair color?

don't wash your hair brush the gel in your hair till it's smooth it makes a better surface for the dye to stick to. Most hair dye boxes say to dye with unwashed hair, but whether it says to or not I would just brush the gel or hair spray or whatever is in your hair and brush it out. Make sure to have dry hair when you apply it. Trust me I have been dying my hair for about 10 years and been every color you can think of. By the way garnier %100 color is a good dye.

Hair color?

Red, baby! Red all the way, or at least red-ish or some red streaks or light red with some highlights. Whatever, just add some red to it.

Hair color?

dont let it sit long or your hair will be blond if you use orange red from garnia high lights. make sure you reed the box directions care fully. cuz i and my sister and cuz skrewed my hair. (but it wasen't permanent thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!)

Which works better& longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

I have sensitive skin and I've heard that Nair and Veet both now make products for sensitive skin.

But, I want something that won't leave my skin bumpy/red/irritated.

AND, obviously I want something that will leave my legs feeling smooth as long as possible. When I shave I can feel stubble coming back up the next day! Eek!

I know about waxing but its way too expensive for me.

Anyway, as hair-removing creams/gels/etc. go, which is better?

AND: what about NADS? Can you get it at a drugstore/grocery store? Or do you have to order it on TV?

Is it the best?

Thanks!

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

At home waxing is a sport we should all stay far away from!!!

I recommend using hair removers / depilatories

I used all the brands (Veet, Nair, Sally) but I just checked out the new Epil Stop hair remover and the really cool new afterwash that comes with it. Happy to say that I had a really good experience with Epil Stop. I really like how it smelled, definitely better that the others. Worked perfectly for me.

If you at all worried about skin irritation that some of us get from chemical hair removers, you gotta use Epil Stop閳ユ獨 Perfect Finish Neutralizing AfterWash - It neutralizes any hair remover cream left on your skin so you won't burn yourself accidentally or get any red bumps. It's an amazing product - really works!!!!

They have a demo on their website that shows how it all works.

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

NADS doesn't work...it is like putting honey on your legs. I have heard really good things about Veet. I haven't tried it myself.

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

I've never tried veet, but NEVER USE NAIR!!!! it burned my skin and my legs were bright red for days. My friend did that too. I've heard good things about Veet.

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

just get the wax strips!! they last much longer(up to 3 weeks) and they are about the same price! o buy the veet wax strips

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

Just to let you know, both will give you a very big very itchy very uncomfortable rash all over your legs. PLEASE dont try either... save yourself from the rashes

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

first of all the best way to go is waxing, its smooth and silky and it takes 2-3 weeks to come back, and second nair, veet, shaving all of them are the same, they dont give bumps, or redness the cremes but they come back like shaving, nads is good but gives alot of redness, go to a beaty supply store and ask for a nice hot wax, that is nice and it does wonders for my sensitive skin

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

Nair. My mom tried Veet one day, and it horridly irritated her legs.

But what my mom wants me to get done is the laser hair removal. Sure, it costs, but it's better than having to live with stubble and getting razor burn and cuts.

Which works better%26amp; longer for removing leg hair: "Nair" or "Veet"?

veet

I want my hair like zac efrons?

I want my hair like zac efrons?

One. You'll have to straighten it, even if your hair is straight

Two. Don't get your hair like his, it looks like a bowl.

I want my hair like zac efrons?

Go to a salon and ask them, they'll tell you everything you need to know!

Good Luck! :)

*Girls with hair experience!!* PLZ answer?

I want to get a light perm. Kinda like this:

http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/image...

or this

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

So here are my questions.

1) would this even be considered a "light perm"? Or what should I ask for at the salon?

2) how damaging would that be to my hair?

Info about my hair:

dry.oily.medium brown%26amp;length. I can get my hair almost that curly but I have to put curling hair creme and scrunching gel, then I diffuse it. Im just tired of spending all that time on my hair to get it like that. If I dont do anything to it, its slightly wavy.

THNX GUYS!! :D

*Girls with hair experience!!* PLZ answer?

before i answer this question i just want to say that i really like that hairstyle!

anyway, i work at a beauty salon. i only do makeup but i have learnt alot about hair in the past few years i have been working at the salon. alot of people come to the salon for perms and the girl that does the hair knows absolutley everything there is to know about perms! she has told me that when you get a perm, it wears out in 3 months so you have to keep going back for regular touch ups. and another thing you should know is that once you get a curly perm, your hair will never go back to it's natural style. if you have straight hair then your hair wont go back completly straight if you decide that you dont like the perm anymore. but if you are completly commited to this and are certain that you have the time (and money) to take good care of your perm then go ahead! i say, if it makes you feel and look good then hey im all for it!

xx

*Girls with hair experience!!* PLZ answer?

i think u should just bring the pic that you like best. idk about damaging ur hair. i like the first one but if your natural brown idk if it'll work. but i think u should try it.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

This started not very long ago.....I started using a new shampoo and after that my hair was nasty like it felt like WET hairpray in my hair.....I went back to my old shampoo hoping this goes away but, does anyone have any advise on how to get rid of it.....It's only on the top of my head in one little area.....I have always had everyones "dream" hair.....Thick and LONG...I use nothing in my hair "like hairspray or gel"......I don't know why all of a sudden it feels like this!!! It even feels like this when I wash my hair......

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

i dont know what to tell you about the shampoo.

but i had similar problem, but it was because the brush i had was too rough on my sculpt which caused it to feel nasty and weird. so try using a softer brush.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

I too have noticed that since i began using a different shampoo which is to make my hair straight and smooth. It is only at the top of my head. When I blow dry it begins to feel sticky/greasy. Thanks for the help. I will go back to old shampoo and see what happens. Report It

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Definately shower everyday and if you use conditioner, don't use it at the top of your head. Just hold your hair like you're gonna put it in a ponytail and use conditioner only from where your hand is and down. My hair used to get greasy REALLY quickly, then I stopped using conditioner at the top of my head and it doesn't come as quickly anymore. So avoid conditioner at the top of the head, and wash it daily. And if it continues, look for shampoo for Oily/Greasy hair. It usually helps.

Good Luck! I hope I could help!

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

its probably just the shampoo

this sounds weird but stop using conditoner and use regular soap instead of shampoo

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

In a word "Hormones" I am unsure how old you are but it could be this. The hair shaft like the skin produces sebum/oil and this could be the trouble you are having. Have you noticed an oiler skin too?

Have a word with your hairdresser tell her the problem She may suggest a mild shampoo.. Condition the mid length and ends of the hair only putting no hair conditioner of the roots/scalp

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Try maybe some organic shampoo %26amp; conditioner for your hair. I use organic shampoo's %26amp; conditioners all the time and my hair always feels nice. If that doesn't work then I would spend a little bit of extra money by visting a "good" hair salon. Go to a salon where the hairdresser can wash your hair and possibly do a hair treatment on it. The hair treatment would probably take out the grease spot in your hair. You need to visit a good hair salon so you don't run into this problem again. The hairdressers who work at the salon can recommend a good shampoo and conditioner that won't make your so greasy. I go to a really excellent salon in my town and pay extra money to have my hair always look good. So I hope this helps!! Good luck!!!

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

If you think it's build up.Try using a clarifying shampoo. There's no needs to fork out a bunch of money for one either especially since you will only use it once in awhile. I have used Suave and it worked fine. I am wondering if you've had some type reaction affecting your scalp since this only in one small area. Usually a larger area would be affected. If the clarifying shampoo doesn' t help you may want to try using one that contains Tea tree oil if you have some sort of scalp irritation this may help alleviate the problem.

閳ユ窅larifying Shampoo閳?br>

Definition: A clarifying shampoo has one job and that is to remove buildup of gels, mousses, pomades and other products that weigh down your hair with regular use. It differs from a regular shampoo because of the elevated acid content of the product and because of this, it should be used about once a month.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Well you may want to look into your diet maybe you need to change something. Drink plenty of water around half a gallon a day, and eat lots of vegetables. As for you hair problem try messaging you scalp at night just to make sure that you dont have any circulatory issues. You might want to invest on a dry shampoo. They may be expensive so you can use cornstarch instead. You put it on dry hair and leave so oils can be absorbed than brush out. This will work for when your hair is dry, but your hair will probably still feel, weird, as you say when wet. Also to make sure you dont have a scalp problem, while you message at night message with tea tree oil or rosemary oil. Rosemary oil may smell better. Hope I helped.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

when i curl my hair i put in gel, or moussse[or both] then let it dry then put in rollers and take them out , what is a way that i can make my curls more volumized...does gel or mousse work better?

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse.

it's lighter, will weigh it down less, and give more spring and volume to your curl.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse definitely

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse is messy but works best

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

go with gel, it holds better than mousse

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Depends on your hair; if it's fine, the gel might weigh it down too much. I think mousse would be the safest bet.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

I use mousse. I don't like gel. If you put gel on a really cold day your hair will dry up and break off. It's not that good. Gel can make your hair fall out, so can mousse but mousse you can also blow dry and put on which makes it softer and like normal hair.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse

is way better

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

i go by this rule: for volumizing straight hair used mousse.

for curly or wavy hair use gel.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

both

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse bevcause it won't weigh your hair down and give you that wet look.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Gel definally it styles your hair better, gives it much more volume, and makes it shine! Mousse just makes it saggy and sticky.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Hair Style Should Depend on Your Hair Texture

When deciding a hair routine, you first have to determine you hair type. Hair texture is an important part of determining how your hair is cut, how you wash it and even what types of gel or mousse you need to use.

If you have fine hair, cutting in long angled layers around your face, leaving the rest at shoulder length. Color will add an appearance of volume, but if you aren't a fan of hair coloring, you can try highlighting the top layers. You may have to wash your hair a couple of times a day, especially in the summer heat. Use a deep cleaning shampoo to get out any oils that might weigh your hair down and make it flat. If your hair is dry, you can use a gloss to add moisture to the ends. Try a protein-based volumizer and work it into the base of the scalp. Pin you hair about 2" from the hairline and let it dry. This will make you look like you have extra volume and height on top.

Wavy hair must have layers. Length isn't as important. Layers keep the hair from getting to big. Shampoo only once a day and use a silicone based gloss or gel or mousse instead of an alcohol base product. These alcohol base products tend to dry out your hair. You can pin it up in the day and let it loose at night.

A curly hairstyle will warrant long hair, but ask for a blunt cut to keep you hair from getting too big. Wash your hair every couple of days, and use a heavy conditioner and don't rinse it out too completely. You'll need the extra moisture. Same goes with using alcohol based mousse and gels. Use silicone-based products to keep you hair from drying out.

Maybe these tips will help you in your hairstyle issues and allow you to try something new or some new products. Remember, you hair style and hair texture have to work together.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

i would say mousse because gel can make your hair hard i have used mousse works great

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Maybe I'm using the wrong gel, but mousse seems to work better on me. The gels seem to leave a residue in my hair that doesn't happen with the mousse. My hair is extremely difficult to control, but the lighter weight mousse holds just as well as the gel without the sticky feeling. (BTW, I use Pantene products, so maybe different brands would work differently.)

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

I personally like Mousse better. Gel for me is too sticky and makes your hair look dirty faster.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Gel is good if you want a stiff hold Mousse is good for a not so firm hold.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

i use suave volumizing mousee, gel is too heavy and stiff

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

gel is strong mousse work's beter

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

It depends on your hair type and condition. Basically whichever product has the least amount alcohol in it. Alcohol is very drying to the hair, so if you use it a lot it can be damaging over time. So if you use mousse try to find a conditioning one.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse for sure, because it's lighter and won't weigh your curls down. If you want products specifically for curly hair (or curled hair) go to the following site.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

mousse :)

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

I would say mousse. It's lighter and leaves your hair airy. It does'nt weigh your hair down.

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

Mousse is way better!!!

Which is better to use, gel or mousse?

It depends your hairstyle

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

I have thick curly hair that is dry. I can see now that gel and mousse dry up my hair because their residue. I have to go to the beauty salon every two weeks to get my hair done now. Last year when I had to go the beauty salon every two weeks, my hair was stronger, healthier, and grew faster. The beauty salon lady told me my hair can last two weeks without being washed. Is this all true?

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

If she told you its true, then it probably is.

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

! if you have dry curly hair, use 'leave in' moisturising conditioner. it will help a lot and ease the dryness and soften and define the curls nicely!

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

why dont you try curd on your hair.it really makes one's hair manageable.do apply curd every weekend and keep it till it gets dry.then wash it off.wash your hair thrice a week with any shampoo and a good conditioner. it would result you satisfied.

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

Its her job to know, so I would trust her. I have the same issue. I normally keep my hair straightened, just because it seems easier to manage that way. I also use a lot of leave-in conditioners and hot oil treatments. When I don't, it dries out and breaks off.

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

I SAY TRY IT AND SEE IF IT WORKS FOR YOU... IF NOT TRY SOMETHING NEW. I WOULD SAY KEEP IT WASHED AND CONDITIONED AND GET A HOT OIL TREATMENT EVERY 6 WEEKS. KEEP IT SHINY!!!!!! OH YEAH AND KEEP YOU END CLIPPED (DEAD ENDS) EVERY 6 WEEKS PROFESSIONALLY......GOOD LUCK....

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

yes but i will be really greasey at the end of that too weeks.try changing shampoo. my sister had that problem. try dove shampoo. fructis is also really good. at my work i stock shampoo and stuff like that. their is all of different kinda of shampoo made for dry curly hair.

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

there is some truth to it, though dirty hair does aggravate the situation.

shampoo your hair every other day. on days you don't use shampoo, use conditioner to keep your hair hydrated and manageable.

plus you might wanna look for a shampoo that's designed to hydrate. as for your conditioner, look for one that contains jojoba, avocado and nut or seed oils.

If possible, let your hair air-dry.

hope these tips help. :)

Thick Dry Curly Hair?

i have thick curly dry hair also : ). I wear it straight bc its easier to keep. otherwise it gets knotted. I wash it twice a week and thats it. and no it is not oily and disgusting. Everyone is different. Do what is best for your hair and just dont tell people you dont wash it if it makes you feel yucky. Washing your hair, in YOUR case, sounds like it will damage it even more.

Hair formula for blondes...?

Hi. I color my hair with Redken Blonding Gels. I was wondering if I could cut the ingredients in half to get less hair color for quick touch ups, rather than wasting the remaining hair dye I don't use. (ie. instead of 4 oz developer, using 2 oz, and appropriately cutting the blonding gel formula in half as well)

Hair formula for blondes...?

Hi I tried responding to the e-mail but it didn't go through and then I found this! But you've probably already done it! I just got the message late, so sorry. Well, I'm sure it turned out and I would have done it knowing Redken. It's all I use. I should've picked up on the blonding gel lingo...ughhh. Have a nice night and any future questions...I'd be happy to help! By the way that was an interesting combo, maybe I'll try it on someone ;)

Hair formula for blondes...?

Sure can! ALWAYS just much devloper as color,so 1%26amp;1 or 2%26amp;2 and so on

Hair formula for blondes...?

Yes u can cut the amounts used 2 make only what u need each time. However as I'm sure u know u can't keep any color that's been mixed w/ developer.

Hair formula for blondes...?

Go to a beauty supply store. They sell the exact same products. Buy your redken color gel and your developer separately. They are in containers that are meant to be resealed and stored. The ones in the store boxes are not meant to be resealed and stored. Be safe.

Straight hair??

how can i make my hair like this - %26gt; http://i18.tinypic.com/6be1g1k.png

like what products/straightener do i need??

i really like the texture of her hair, is there like a certain product (gel, balm, wax) that makes your hair have that texture?

and whats the best straightener?

i have curly, thick hair that gets poofy whenever i straighten it.

it looks AWFUL - pretty when curly but awful when straight.

and i cant afford a chi =[

best answer = 10 pts =]

Straight hair??

I've tried expensive straighteners and products, and they best one I've found is a cheap ($22.50) one by Remington called a T Studio. It is brown w/pink lettering. And also, Redkin makes a great product called "Smooth Down" that helps smooth down fly aways.

Straight hair??

i'm not sure

Straight hair??

the chi is great, but way too expensive. i use a revlon, the white one, it's like 17 bucks at walmart. wat you should do is buy a straightner spray, you spray it on before you blow dry and before you straighten, it keeps your hairy healthy and smooth and prevents the heat from messing ur hair up. when straightening do it in layers!... also a smoothing serum afterwards will give it that look, than finish off with a little bit of hairspray. alson that girl has layers in her hair, and her bangs cut so that they go to the side--bring the picture with you to whoever cuts your hair and tell them you want your hair to look like that when you style it, they can help u.

Straight hair??

The best straightener EVER is Chi. I PROMISE!! I have gone through so many others and this one seriously works wonders. . I also know that a lot of celebrity hair stylists use it. It does cost anywhere from $80-$100....but it is a really good investment! Also, if you use a straightening or smoothing spray or cream that helps (my favorite is Biosilk). If you can't afford a chi just make sure that it's ceramic straightener. They work the best.

http://health-beauty.pricegrabber.com/ha...

Straight hair??

Girl, don't even try with a straightener unless you want your hair to turn to frizz in a year or so. D: I made that mistake. Just get a nice blow dryer and get with someone to show you how to straighten it with it. My mom showed me using an Ion blow dryer and my hair turns out nice and remains healthy. :3 Burning your hair is so not very attractive. XD

Straight hair??

CHI and GHD straighteners are bomb.

but ya just use a straightener to get that hairstyle.

and if you dont have that cut just ask for layers with side bangs.

Straight hair??

A straightner that would work best for your hair will be around the price of a chi, so start saving! lol

Straight hair??

no clue

Straight hair??

there really is no striaghtener that is gonna get it that straight- believe me ive tried for over 15 years

you need to heat set it to get it that straight

personally- i finally went for the japanese straightening (only $200 it changed my life!)

but the flat iron really is the trick- save up- put all the money away on all those products you or will buy that wont work and save up for a good flat iron! really it will make it pin straight- but learn how to use it so your hair doesnt get damaged over time

Straight hair??

I am a hairdresser that would say (sight unseen) that a heavy gel or straightening balm before blowdry then ceramic flat ironif possible, if not a curling iron would work you would just slide it down your hair the same way

Straight hair??

The 1" Conair Infiniti Straightener does wonders to my hair. My hair is usually wavy and pretty thick. When I'm done straightening, I sometimes complain that it's too straight..haha. But I really love it. I wanted the CHI before as well, but it costs too much =\ hope you find the perfect straightener =]

Straight hair??

The best hair straightener ever is a Chi. You can get it at an Ulta store. or at www.ulta.com

its a life saver

Straight hair??

Well the best Is the Chi.

I mean I know you might not afford it

But you need it.

It is the best strainter in the Usa.

Its the only one that helps.

The Chi also has products.

If you dont have a chi and you have a regular stranter get the chi prodects and put it on and straiten your hair it will look Beautiful..

Trust me. It works.

But then I got a chi and it works!!

Save up.

Straight hair??

Okay well i have the exact same hair type although i dont know how frizzy yours is anyway i used the t studio straightener for prom i think it is by remington also if you need a little something else to help keep your hair from getting messed up try stat down but i dont know the brand good luck :)

Straight hair??

Just TRY and save up for a CHI. ive heard theyre REALLY awesome. im actually tryin to save up for me one! ah!@ lol good luck

Straight hair??

go to:

http://www.gethairapy.com/products/

http://www.johnfrieda.com/index.asp

http://www.hairfinder.com/hair_imaging.h...

Straight hair??

The best way to get that kind of hair is to go to a salon and have them rebond your hair.

If you can't, you can do this at home:

- You'll need this product: (L'Oreal Paris Studioline Hot Straight Heat-Activated Straightening Cream)

http://www.epinions.com/content_22478504...

It helps straighten your hair properly when used with heating tools while protecting your hair.

- Wash your hair, dry with a towl. When it's just damp and not dripping, apply the straightening cream into the strands evenly and generously.

- Bend over and blowdry your hair that way using your fingers only until it's almost perfectly dry.

- While there's still some moisture left, part your hair down the middle into two sections. Then divide each section into two again- separating the top parts from the bottom parts. Pin up the top parts to your head. Work on the two bottom parts first.

- You can either use a blowdrier/round brush or a ceramic hair iron/straight comb for this next step.

Ceramic Iron:

- Take a portion of one bottom part and pass it through the iron as many times needed using the comb until it dries up completely and is straight. Do not pause the iron midway.. make smooth, slow and continuous passes from top root to tip of hair. Remember to curve the iron inwards when you get to the end of your hair to achieve that healthy look. Otherwise, it's going to look stick straight and unhealthy.

- Move the straightened part aside and do the other side. Then take down the pinned top parts and work on those.

Blowdrier:

- Start again with one bottom part. Start as close as you can get to the roots of your hair. Place your hair on the round comb and position the blowdrier right on top of the hair. Use the smooth and continuous strokes going down from root to tip with the blowdrier at top setting. It takes some getting-used-to.

*It's better to work on thin parts. It ensures that all strands get the same amount of heat/styling for a nice, even and natural look.

Straight hair??

How can i make my hair straight ?

You can get Chinese Hair Straightening but it's expensive and the ladies really pull at your hair and you can't curl your hair for 6 months.

How can i make my hair straight ?

the coating will help revive your hairs condition and the magic straight perm will make silky straight

im not sure if american or european salons have this but i know asian salons do

How can i make my hair straight ?

thats not possibile w.o the iron sry

How can i make my hair straight ?

there's really no other way to straighten your hair without using a straightner or chemicals. i think herbal essence has a shampoo called "dangerously straight" it is supposed to make your hair straight. but if your hair is really wavy the product may not work.

How can i make my hair straight ?

Hey,

Well some people are like born with straight hair, for example as my self what i do, umm well i wash my hair normally with shampoo and conditioner, and then wrap it in a towel, and leave it for a couple of mins, then i take the towel off and blow dry my hair but turning my head upside down towards the floorr, i do that for volume and straightness, also yu might wanna use a flat comb whilst drying your hair hairdryer but dont use comb when hair is wet.

How can i make my hair straight ?

don't perm your hair

I did and I lost so much hair, and your hair will also burn

try blow drying your hair with a round brush and also add silk and shine before you blow dry it

try to find a serum that will eliminate frizz

after blow drying find a good flat iron that will straighten your hair

make sure you go with a ceramic iron so that your hair won't burn as much

that should be all!

How can i make my hair straight ?

Easy peazy.

Use a hair straightener

My hair is shedding but idk y? Can someone help?

Ok well I have nice black curly hair and I am only 15 years old and yea I am a boy. I don't use gel, I don't wash my hair often, and I use conditioner alot to keep my hair soft. I also use curling mousse sometime. Latley my hair has been shedding and there is some baldness in my family but I am only 15 years old!!!!!!!!!

My hair is shedding but idk y? Can someone help?

Sorry to say it, it's possible you can be bald or going bald by the age of 17. Just think of all the money you'll save. No more haircuts, shampoos, hair conditioners, combs. There's always an upside to everything. Happy New Year!, and al the best.

My hair is shedding but idk y? Can someone help?

My hair is thinning, too. I am 15 also and I don't know why its happening!

My hair is shedding but idk y? Can someone help?

1. It could be baldness but not likely.

2. Are you under a lot of stress? Stress will make your hair fall out a lot.

3. Brushing your hair will make it fall out.

4. Test your tap water. If you have hard water that too will make your hair fall out.

5. Using too much conditioner will cause your hair to fall out.

Gel nails dilemma.....?

have gel nails and they look fabulous (french manicure), but the problem is that there are tiny(as thin as hair) cracks on the gel nail.....why is this?

Gel nails dilemma.....?

IF IT IS AN ACRYLIC GEL YOU HAVE THEN THE LAYER IS TOO THIN AND THAT'S IS HOW THE CRACKS APPEAR , IF IT IS A DIFFERENT GEL THEN THEY ARE NOT USUALLY GOOD-THEY ARE STILL GELS THAT BECOME PLASTIC ONCE THEY DRY BUT THE MOLECULE BOND ARE REALLY RIGID AND NOT ELASTIC SO EVEN IF LETS SAY YOU TYPE FOR A WHILE THEY CAN CRACK. MAKE SURE YOU USE ACRYLIC AND THAT THE LAYER IS AT LEAST A MILLIMETER OR A MM AND 1/2.

Gel nails dilemma.....?

Usually this occurs when the top coat (the clear Nail Polish) cracks. Use a non- accetone nail polish remover and gently remove the top coat of nail polish then apply a Clear Polish over the top.

Whenever I have seen this it has never been the gel cracking but always the nail poilsh top coat

Hair commosion?

Okkkkk soo I have long hair, thats wavy and poofy, it doesnt look good if I dont use any products. I'm not aloud to blowdry or iron my hair. When I use gel or moose I look bad. I look really good with straight hair...but I cant straighten it. I dont know what to do...do any of you know what hair products will make my hair look good....relax it(but not permanitley) ...or something i can put in my hair so I could leave it down and it will look good with my side bangs...please only answer if you know..not if u think...................................... please answer the following questions in the answer What the name of the product is...if I can get it from rite aid....if you used it...if you used it from a scale of 1-10 how much it has helped...what it does, and if YOUR hair is straight, wavy or curly...I will give the fastest answer, and buy the product...if it works for me I will give you best answer, and best answer for the next 5 ques i post no matter what. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hair commosion?

try antifrizz creams i use Dove's Smooth%26amp;Soft antifrizz cream and it works for me. i would rate it with a 8, and my hair is wavy and gets really frizzy so it helps pretty good. It is a weightless moistureizer that doesn't leave your hair stiff or sticky.

Hair commosion?

well, frizz ease works good. you don't have to use a lot so it lasts long. i have wavy hair that gets fuzzy when i let it air dry. the frizz ease keeps it soft and from getting puffy. you can get it at rite aid or any other drug store. i would give them a 7 or an 8.

however, my favorite thing is gloss drops by paul mitchell! they are fantastic! you can get them at the salon in walmart. they will last a long time too! they are a 10!!! my absolute favorite hair products. it will keep your hair smooth and shiny. they are resistent to humidity(which is great). it is just a really good product. it is not like gel or mousse. it does not make your hair stiff. if you want your hair to be healthy you should also get a good shampoo and conditioner. like a smoothing line. good luck!

Hair commosion?

I'm a hairstylist of 8 years. My favorite products for your type hair is the Sleek Look Line by Matrix. It's alittle pricy but will do wonders and last a really long time. The line is 4 steps, shampoo, conditioner, creme, and serum. The bottles are marked so you won't forget which to use first. It works really well on my clients that don't want to spend lots of time on their hair. And it smells awesome!! As far as not being able to straighten or blowdry, that's not all bad. IT damages your hair so much. As you air dry oyour hair try combing it with a wide tooth comb until it's dry. And when you towel dry don't ruffle your hair with the towel, just keep blotting it or put it up for a few mins to get out the excess water. When you ruffle it, it will actually make to cuticle stand up which in turn makes it poofier!! Good Luck!!

Hair commosion?

I don't know but you can go to the web site biolage or redken and they will be able to establish what may be able to help you in that field i'm sorry i don't really know it's been a long tim e since i have done hair. I got kicked out my cosmetolgy class for being slow.

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

i have thin%26amp;light blonde hair but the bottom layer looks curly like http://www.nypost.com/gossip/celebp/cmaw...

and the top layer looks wavy like http://imstars.aufeminin.com/stars/fan/D...

my hair is cutstraight across, shoulder lenght and my hair looks like i have a weird cap on my head. my hair is fluffly%26amp;light and it looks horrible.i used to have long curly hair all over but i went into a tomboy state%26amp;cut off most of my hair%26amp;plastered it in gel to make it superstraight.i want to get my hair back the way it was because now i always wear it in a ponytail because i am too embaressed to wear it loose. is their a haircut or product i could use to restore or enhance all my curls? i have tried some products but as my hair is so light and dry and blonde it looks really greasy %26amp;dark after i use it. Please help me, any suggestions are welcome.

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

How about going to the hairdressers for a new cut and some advice. They can assist you and the new cut, if they are a good hairdresser, should be something you like, that suits the shape of your face, and suits your hair? Good luck.

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

Get the best cut you can afford. A decent hairdresser should be able to tidy up your hair without cutting it short. Then try Tigi Bedhead Curl booster after you wash, just scrunch through damp hair %26amp; don't blow dry. Your hair will stay in better condition as you grow it if you don't use heat.

Also if your hair is fine %26amp; fluffy then don't brush it thorugh after scrunching - that makes it worse.

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

hairdressers can give you the best advice and products to use!! it worked for me!!

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

my hair is exactly the same. the best way I can get the whole thing to look curly (not just the bottom bit) is to have it layered throughout up to the top. The choppier the better, then my entire head is covered in curls as opposed to the bottom being curly %26amp; the top slightly wavy and flat. If you don't want to cut it, the other option is to blow dry it up side down and use Aussie scrunch spray (this doesn't seem to leave a heavy or greasy residue on the hair like Frizz Ease and smells wonderful too!) and scrunch it, scrunch scrunch it! Takes some time but the end result is well worth it if you don't want to cut your hair. Or I just give in and straighten it all. I agree with you, flat on top and curly on bottom looks like a weird cap.

Help me help my hair!! i have to do something about my hair:?

suggest a good cut to start over and use hair mask to condition

Scene hair issues?

ok so i have scene hair but my hair is dead straight. thankfully i found bigsexyhair- blow dry volumizing gel that works absolute wonders. now here comes the but- after i put the gel in i blow dry my hair upside down for the most volume but when i flip my head back up the layers in my hair are all flippy outy and looks more farrah faucett-y than *insert famous scene person here* lol you know? i was wondering if anyone had tips on making my hair more inward poofy? if u dont know what i mean the check out scene hair on photobucket.com.

oh and one last thing please dont whine here if you dont like scene, its my style and i love it so go ***** somewhere else.

Scene hair issues?

a soft bristled curling brush will help grab the top layer and get the hair dryer and pull the brush out keeping the hair dryer on the hair and try curling it under. or you can run a straightener the bits that annoy you then with your hands give your hair a good shake

Scene hair issues?

insted of putting that volume crap (idk whats its called lol)

tease your hair =] put wax then tease in mostly on the crown lots %26amp;%26amp; lots of hairspary and ta dah!

i do this too and i love scene =]

Scene hair issues?

if you own a flat iron let it warm up JUST A BIT and quicky run it over the botom peices of hair that fliped out, while it it fliped in. or if you are lacking a flat iron, put some wax on your palms and flip the hair in with your hands.

hope i helped.

How many of you remember those little naked troll dolls with different hair colors? & how many o

..them haircuts? if not haircuts, what do you remember doing to those little trolls...(i used to give them haircuts and put gel in their hair) lol. explain if and how you tortured those things..

How many of you remember those little naked troll dolls with different hair colors? %26amp; how many of you gave..?

My sister-in-law used to collect those ugly things!

My husband chopped the hair off of some of her favorites once. Boy, was she mad!

How many of you remember those little naked troll dolls with different hair colors? %26amp; how many of you gave..?

Oh, yes. I remember them. We used to twist their hair up into buns and put pencils in their hair to hold the buns up. Nothing very tortorous, but it was fun at the time.

How many of you remember those little naked troll dolls with different hair colors? %26amp; how many of you gave..?

Trolls were very big when I was in middle and high school. And yeah people did all sots of things to them including hit cuts and styles, some folks tied them up in lockers and used them as stress dolls. I just had them around for fun.

Hair questions? for people who know alot about hair, or if u just want to answer it.?

ok, well i just took a shower, i want to scrunch my hair, and pin the bangs back with bobby pins. (i have long side bangs) i want it to look really cute without using alot of styling products Ex: Hairspray, gel, mousse etc.

i never use hair spray and rarely gel. but maybe i can. only if it doesnt require alot, and i also have volumizer. so help me please?

Hair questions? for people who know alot about hair, or if u just want to answer it.?

well because u don't wanna use a lot of product to make it wavy, i'd say take a shower, braid it, spray it, then go to bed.

when u wake up take out the braid and spray into place.

very easy and makes it look beachy.

Hair questions? for people who know alot about hair, or if u just want to answer it.?

get in the shower.. try using a curly hair definer such as.. Herbal essences totally twisted shampoo %26amp; conditioner, im not saying this makes people who have natrually straight hair have curly hair, but it defines them. Makes them stand out and shine more. While your hair is wet use mousse, not too much hairspray or gel unless you want the wet look to your hair. ..then scrunch... Use a hair dryer extention which makes your hair dry curly. When your hair is dry, tease your bangs which you wish to have up.. then pin them up and brush over to smooth the teasingness up.. then spray! maybe if your scrunched curls arnt how you want them.. you could use curlers or hair curls.. Good luck!

Hair questions? for people who know alot about hair, or if u just want to answer it.?

well since you dont want to put a lot of product into ur hair then you can follow what i do.

i take a shower at night, sleep on it sort of wet. then its all dry in the morning so i just alply some moose and garnier sleek and shine serum.

Hair questions? for people who know alot about hair, or if u just want to answer it.?

You can find your exact answer at below link. It will definitely help you.

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

gel makes my hair feel digustingly crunchy and damaged so i'm wondering if just a mousse will work and create pretty waves at least, encouraging what i already have without the frizz. i have to use something or it will look really frizzy

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

I like to use the AG hair brand the curling product is called recoil. It is really good to keep define curls and smooth frizz, give it a try!

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

Try tresseme believe me it'll work. But the problem is that you'll have to put on a lot and that can be bad unless you want to take the risk.

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

Oh i found a very good one.

It's called Sunsilk Captivating Curls Scrunching Mousse. "Cationic conditioners and silicon deliver non-sticky control for soft curls." That's the description. It's new and really good.

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

TRESemme Flawless Curls Mousse.

Hun I have tried every mousse out there and this is by far the best!

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

Use Biosilk or Chi silk, they are made for curly hair, they lock away frizz and smooth the hair so that curls/waves fall the way they should naturally. Mousse and gels just damage the hair with the use of alcohol and make it feel hard and stiff. The silk's I mentioned just tame the hair, it will be soft curly/wavy natural looking and smell fantastic. I have tried every product out there from cheap to very expensive, trust me this is just what you need.

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

I heard the ads for Garnier Curl Mousse..

They sound pretty good but I'm not sure on how well it is. Anyways, here's the website:

What mousse should i use for scrunching thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair?

i have the same kind of hair.. i use herbal essences mouse called totally twisted and then i use a anti frizz serum, the brand is citre shine but any kind should work..

How to get great silky hair?

my hair is curly when i put gel in and straigh when i straihgten it but it is just a ball or friz when i do nothing to it. how do i make my ball of frizz silk, soft, and shiney HELP

How to get great silky hair?

I have the same problem. My hair is poofy, frizzy, and sort of wavy/curly. But to solve this problem this is what I do: Once every one or two weeks I put Spa Wisdom Monoi miracle oil (the body shop) in my hair before I go to bed. When I wake up, I take a regular shower and rinse out the oil. The purpose of it is to make your hair shiney and soft. It totally helps. The shampoo to use is Sunsilk Straiten Up. It helps with 'stubborn kinks and unwanted waves' Then, after I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair and put in John Frieda Frizz Ease hair serum. Then I put in this 24/7 leave in cream also from Sunsilk Straiten Up. After that, blow dry your hair. But make sure you sort of straiten it with the blow dryer. Once your hair is completely dry, straiten it with a straitener. I use a Conair straitener for wet or dry hair, but it looks really frizzy and weired when I use it on the wet setting. Once I straiten it, I brush it. Your hair should be frizz free and super soft and shiney when your done. Unless you did something wrong. But anyway, there is your perfect hair! I know it sounds like a lot, but its not. And even if it were, its totally worth it.

Hope my solution works for you!

How to get great silky hair?

How to get great silky hair?

my hair was really wavy and frizzy and i just use pantene pro V now, it's really soft. i leave it in a lot longer than they say though, i leave it in when i shave my legs. also hot oil treatments help and even using egg yolks and letting them soak before shampooing, i assume they help add proteins back to damaged hair.

How to get great silky hair?

Nature's secret is to use avocado mashed up and lather

it in your hair instead of shampoo then just rinse your hair.

Or just buy 100% pure avacado oil and apply 3x (times)

per week after taken a shower.

Make sure your hair is dry or blowdryed.

"to much blowdrying also damages hair"

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

Cut your hair GI style.

Or, let it grow to a length where it no longer 'spikes'.

If you care enough for your hair, don't be under the influence of 'trendy hairstyle' that do not make you any better as a person.

Wash your hair regularly.

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

you need to use a good clarifying shampoo to wash out all that gunk from your hair. and use a really good conditioner, one that's specially formulated for damaged hair.

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

use a shampoo %26amp; conditioner for damaged hair and try to find a gel with NO alcohol in it ; )

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

Use a wax or pomade..not as drying as gels, and they make your hair shiny

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

if your hairgel is spoiling your hair(whaterver that means) you shoud get new hairgel.

My hairgel is spoiling my hair a bit,but i can't avoid it.what do i do?

quit using the hairgel for 3 - 6 weeks and deep condition your hair. or you could just try using a different hari gel. or you could cut your hair and let new hair grow. or you could use LESS hair gel. ask your hair stylist for some tips.

How to fix curly hair?

i am a 17 year old boy who is trying to regrow his hair.the problem is is that whenever i had hair my dad would shave it off.(not all of it,but enough to where it was so short that that you couldn't even pinch a strand of hair with your fingers).finally he has allowed me and my brother to grow our hair the way we want it,but mine is getting all curly and it is hard to keep straight without gel.the problem with me using gel is that it makes my hair look greasy, but it is the only way to keep my bangs nice and neat.i am planning on getting my edges trimmed up especially in the back and around my ears.in the back the end curl,so does the hair on the side of my head.and whenever i take a shower and my hair is drying my hair curls so that i have to keep brushing it every 10-15 minutes to keep my hair the way i want it.is there any way to make it straight?is there anything i can get at a grocery store for guys to to straighten hair?

How to fix curly hair?

omgosh dont listen to people saying to chemically straighten or relax ur hair. it is sooooo damaging!! and expensive. my husband has curly hair to, and he straightens his with a 1" flat iron.

get a straightening cream like loreal studio straightening cream and put it in ur hair after u shower. and then let ur hair air dry (%26amp; u dont have to brush it every 10 minutes like u were doing) then just run the flat iron throught the parts u want straight.

How to fix curly hair?

buy a flat iron. lots of guys use them too.

How to fix curly hair?

Stop eating all those crusts!

How to fix curly hair?

I know that this may seem a little gay, but use a hair straightener. ps: I hate curly hair too.

How to fix curly hair?

Relaxing your hair will get it permanently straight for a long time.

Trust me, this will work. I know many guys (with short and long curly hair) who don't like their hair that way, so they 'relax it'.

You can do it at home or at a salon, but it stings the scalp a little for a day or two.

How to fix curly hair?

Buy hair relaxer you can get this at a drug store, use a hair dryer and a hair straightener. You can have your hair professionally straightened and is supposed to last 6 months but you are cursed with curly hair and gel just wont do neither will just letting your hair dry

How to fix curly hair?

theres a japanzeezie treatment u can get at salons..straitenrz r good but u haf 2 do it evry morning and wen u get out of da pool!

How to fix curly hair?

I use a blow dryer. Then put on styling products that will maintain hair straitness.

How to fix curly hair?

Flat iron works well but is time consuming! Don't listen to anyone who tell you that straightening is damaging. It's only damaging if you do it yourself purchasing it from a drug store or Walmart. You have to get it done professionally or if you know a hairdresser that can get you a straightening formula from a place like Sally Beauty Supply. Their products work very well, make you hair very soft and manageable AND very inexpensive ($4) ! I have been a hairdresser for 23 years and I do my sons girlfriends hair with the stuff all the time and it works very well and did not damage her hair. If you really want to know what we use just let me know.

Can anyone suggest any kind of treatment for whitening hair to make it black?

L 'Oreal sells a bleaching cream right next to the hair dyes. It prepares your hair for coloring specifically so it will take the color better.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

I have short blonde hair. I style it up with gel sometimes. When it is long it starts to get a little curly. Some girls say its sexy long, others like it short, any insights from all you hotties out there?

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

Long black hair is hot!

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

it is sexy long

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

long hair always looks awesome by a party or other occasions. If u have a fuller face, loong hair looks better.Short hair however always looks cute if ur adventerous and have a thin face , try a pixie cut, my friend hs that. Also long hair looks good with big curls.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

long

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

i personnaly like long hair. especially on blondes. but if you have redish/brownish hair colour, than short is best.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

i think long is much sexxier

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

Mine is short and gray, pretty much like my avatar.

I like short hair. Easier and faster to take care of.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

I'd find it sexier if it was even shorter.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

I keep my hair short because a)It's easier to care for, and b) Long hair for me isn't a good idea: I get sick and headachy.

I personally would say whatever length suits you and natural: A person who's naturally a blond would look rather odd with dark hair, for instance. But a natural blond would probably look very good with red hair too.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

It depends on the shape of your face and the style more than the length. Hair with more volume (and curl) is better for thin faces because it makes the face appear fuller. But thin straight and sexy with choppy (but tasteful) layers will make a round face look less baby fatty and thin it out (fringed feather cut with ends that can be worn in and curling out). Your hair style can also affect your height. For me, short is the way to go. I have a cut that hits just below my collarbone. It has volume and is wavy when it air drys. When I let it air dry I straighten my bangs and sweep them to the side, pairing it with a french twsit and a headband with tails or, on a playful weekend, pigtails hitting the nap of the neck to control any frizz. And on evenings I straighten it and use products to make me look slender, sexy and sophisticated. It works for me.

Long or short hair? (and what color) (girls answer, guys can also)?

Go longer %26amp; curly.

Curly hair is gorgeous.
