How to make layered hair flip out?

I have red hair a bit longer than my shoulders. tHE shortest layers in it are at the bottom of my ears. I would like them to flip out some. Not extremely, i just dont want them to blend in as much as they do. I have herbal essences curling mousse, h.e. gel, and like straightner and hair dryer? i could possibly get other products if i need to?

Because they're quite short in relation to the rest of the hair, you may need to use a piecing wax/pomade and do each piece individually. Use a round brush when you're drying and heat these sections and twist them out. Then add your wax and style with your fingers.

Good luck!

all you need to do is tilt your straightner 30 degress as you glide it down your hair and it will flick outward if you have a good straightner then once its looking how you want it just spray hairspray lightly over the edges

Get some garnier surfer hair stuff; or you could use a flatening iron and tilt it outward wwhen you straighten your hair.

i do it all the time! so listen to meee. all you have to do is straighten you hair down, and when you get to the bottom of each layer, twist the straightner out, so it wraps around a tiiiny bit outwards, its not very difficult, you can also try twisting each layer in, that makes your layers stand out to and it frames your face.
