How do I make a Poof Ponytail, and Poof with curly hair?

two questions..

I know how to do a Poof, while I straighten my hair, but everytime I try to do it with a ponytail, it never works.

1-How can I get a Poof Ponytail

and I want to get my hair curly/wavy, and do a poof, but in order for me to normally do a poof I have to take a brush and brush it up and then position it and all this stuff.. if I put gel in my hair and make it all curly/wavy

tease the part you wanna poof with a tease comb then smooth it over with hairspray

well the peice that your "poofing" do not make it curly cause it will frizz. make the poof pin it and brush your hair into a pony tail.wet the tail of your hair and curl it that way.
