hey i've seen lotsa ppl who put like gel in their hair and then scrunch it and it gets wavy, and i think it looks really cute. but my hair is bone strait. any suggestions (a perm is out of the question)

Straighten the hell outta it-make it really bad condition then after washing put some conditioner in it and leave to naturally dry. Worked for me! I used to have very straight hair and the straighteners ruined it-now it goes really wavy and people are always complementing me on it! Strange huh?

Wash your hair and put it in 2 braids (with some mousse or gel) before you go to bed. When you wake up it should dry and take the braids out to reveal beautiful soft beachy waves!

Erm I suggest washing you hair, and then when it is half dry do 2 to 4 plaits in it before you go to bed, then in the morning take them out, scrunch it with some gel and then use straightners or curling tongs to add and extra curls or waves in if neccesary. Hope this helps =]

As you can c in my pic my hair is dead straight 2. So I buy volumising mousse to apply when damp after washiny then blowdry my hair upside down with a diffuser scruching it up...this leaves it wavy but for extra curls I use eaither my tongs or curl it with my hair straightners.

I no i no it sounds mad 'curling with hair straightners' But it curls really well. U just ave 2 put ur hair in the straightners at the top then pulling downwards twirling the straightners...its hard to explain.

When you get out of the shower,put curling gel in your hair and scrunch it (garnier fructise curl gel is what i use) After you scrunch it,put a defuser on your blow dryer and set your hair on the defuser and push it up basically scrunching your hair wich the defuser,while blowdrying add scrunching spray (aussie scrunch spray) and some curling spray do this until you get your desired result.Another option is getting out of the shower and adding scrunch gel or curling gel and blowdrying it,and then using a waver the vidal sassoon waver is about 20.00 and works great if you use product in your hair along with the waver.good luck!
