Keeping my hair in place?

i am a boy and my hair is *semi long* , meaning it is not long just not as tight as most guys,i can get my hair fine but as soon as any swish of wind comes past it WRECKS it!:(

i tried moose but that hasnt worked at all, and i dont use gel as it makes the hair look bad.

is there any way i can keep my hair in place without looking like my hair is totally glued together?

its about 17 dollars.. but you don't have to use alot at a time you just get a tear drop amount and rub it in your hands and then put it in your hair(it might make your hair look greasy if you use too much in one place)...... you can get it at Walgreen's, CVS or any drug store (;
