Well there's not much you can do then. If you knew how to wrap your hair at night with mousse (after a shower while your hair is wet) you could do that, but that takes a lot of practice and you'd need wrap strips. Just pull your hair back into a ponytail or braid it.

when my hair is wet and i run my fingers through my hair it gets straight,or why dont you just try doing that and buy a gel to make it stay that way,it works for me!

Well ironing is something that people did in the past %26amp;%26amp; I am sure that your grandma will have an iron. I know it does not nessicarly damage hair. I would not reccomend this for short hair lol, you can also try some strightening shampoos it might not work AS well as a straightner but it'll be something. Good Luck on getting your straight hair!
