Question about spiked hair?

I currently spike my hair... I want it to go straight up, but sometimes, especially when it gets longer, it kinda curves back at the tip. Is this because of the weight of the hair? What kind of gel should I use? What technique should I use to apply the gel to my hair?

Question about spiked hair?

Hair salons have this stuff called hair glue, it works like cement. My son has used it before and it really works. We bought it at the salon in Wal-Mart.

Question about spiked hair?

you could get it cut a little bit so it doesnt curve

Question about spiked hair?

well theres really nothing that u can do cuz u probley have curly hair so try cutting it a little shorter and see if that works and if not well then i dont know

Question about spiked hair?

make sure you trim it cuz it might being going back because of split ends. use a lighter gel if you just want it straight up yet soft. use a stronger more heavy duty gel if u want it pointy and durable.

depending on how u want your hair styled thats how u pick which gel u need. remember thers lots of GREAT gels u can but without breaking the bank so dont think u need the TOP gel thatll just cost u a fortune. the guys i know ive seen put on their gel and they start from root to tip, they kinda move ther hand around at the root and finger brush through to the tip adding more where its needed.

Hope this helped!

Question about spiked hair?

Your hair is curving at the tip because it is too long.

Any kind of gel is fine. Put a small nickel size amount in the palm on one hand, rub both hands together and run them through your hair starting back to front.

Redken for Men Grip Tight gel is good %26amp; smells great. It has good hold but doesn't flake.

Redken Water Wax is an excellent pomade and might be better than gel. It offers a softer hold and adds a nice sheen.
