Hair Straighteners?

Has anyone found any Really Good hair straightening products? Shampoo, Gels, Irons, or other?? And (or) Does anyone know if the permanent hair straightening products they use at the Salon really work?

Chi flat iron is the only way to go. Expensive but well worth it. If you go have it done at a Salon's keep in mind it only works on the hair you have, new hair growths will be curly so I wouldn't recommend this. If you have limited money and brave enough to do it yourself at home straighteners I love Easy Straight - can be purchased at grocery stores, Target, CVS, Wal-Mart etc. it was easy and really did an okay job. Wasn't super sleek straight but a lot easier to brush. Hair dressers don't recommend you do it yourself especially the first time. My advice..... Buy a Chi iron (a black one) and give it a shot.

I have an amazing flat iron and amazing working products that increase the straightening and smoothness.

If you buy andis ceramic flat iron[not the one with curved plates] and thermasilk straight %26amp; smooth leave-in cream you will definitely achieve straight hair

I have naturally straight hair, but it has a spot that has an ugly wave so I have to straighten everyday almost. I dry my hair and then put just a dab... I mean, like a dime size or less depending on hair length, of Biosilk on it and then I use my CHI Iron on it. It works wonders! I know they are a bit expensive, but they work great and are WELL worth it. Plus, they heat up in about a minute and it only takes me about 3 minutes to get it completely straight! (My hair is pretty long too!) I SWEAR by this stuff!!

My hairdresser recommended the Chi flatiron instead of getting my hair straightened.

I've tried several different flatirons, and think the Chi is the best

Well first of all, there arnt any hair products that make your hair permanently straight. Just straighteners (chi is very good). You can can herbal essence dangerously straight shampoo, conditioner, finishing spray (which can protect heat from straightener, and moose...i used the condish and the shampoo and spray it really controls my curls and waves by the way which are super duper heavy duty curls and waves and those products control it then i just straighten my hair after i use the products.%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; the only way you could peramentaly straighten your hair is to relax it or get it chemically straighten it which KILLS KILLS KILLS your hair BADLY.... plus its exspenciive and wears off in 3 months. Here are some straightener websites

I use "Soya Want Flat hair" and the "Soy Butter". Sometimes I also use the "Biosilk." They all work great! For straighteners I recommend the Chi. As for the permanent straightening I never had that done. So i can't help you there! Sorry!

Well, I like the herbal essneces dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner. Actually, it doesn't really straighten my hair that much, but it makes my waves and curls looser so its easier to straighten them. Also, go to a sally beauty store and get a heat protector if you use tools like flat irons and blow dryers for your hair. Oh yea.....also another product from teh dangerously straight hair line by herbal essences is the spray. I dont have it, but people told me it makes your hair stick straight (with a little help of the flat iron). Well, anyways, the absolute best of the best flat iron is the Sedu. Its rated number #1 out of all straighteners. People say the Chi is the best, yet it is rated #6. This is the sedu:

It does cost a lot.....but just look at the customer reviews and the before and after photos!! Its amazing...but i dont have it.....yet. I know because one of my friends has it and a long time ago i used it....so yea.....By the way, i had a chi. The one for $80 or something. It made my ahir very dry. It fried my hair, and plus I used it for 2 years and it broke. Im definetly getting a Sedu.

All the shampoos I've ever tried DIDN'T work...and my hair isn't really that curly. And many people told me that straight perms permanently straighten your hair- in a bad way. Just stick to using a flat iron. For best results, put you hair into layers and do one at a time. Here's the one I have.

I no it's cheap, but it works GREAT!
