At night wash your hair and blow dry it to semi-dry.

Comb a setting lotion through it, which doesn't dry as stiff as gel or mousse.

Use a fine toothed comb to take your sections, comb them smooth, and then roll them. With the spongey rollers hair can easily be stuck in the closing snap, and so must be rolled neat and tidy for ultimal results.

In the morning, carefully remove the rollers but leave your hair in the rolled position. Check for dampness. Lightly blow dry any damp curls. Dampness on set hair will ruin the set before you even walk out the door.

Once the hair is thoroughly dry, rub some of the setting lotion on your hands and gently finger comb it. Don't brush or seperate the curls, they'll fall by themselves and last longer if you leave it be after light finger combing.

Finish with a finishing spray.

Brushing/gel before curlers is good. If your hair is damp in the morning, blow dry with curlers in. Take the curlers out slowly and just run your fingers through to shape it the way you want, then spray with hair spray. you should be good to go! 閳?br>I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want to do?

Since your hair is so thin, shampoo or wet the hair before putting gel in your hair. (spray in gels, such as the one Pantene makes works best, as it's not so messy on the hands) In the morning, take all the rollers out of your hair, carefully, so as not to pull your hair out, then take your hairbrush, %26amp; brush through your hair once, real good. Then go back %26amp; style your hair with a pick or a comb. BTW: By brushing through your curls, you are helping to set the curl. When I had my hair salon, I loved doing roller sets %26amp; I miss doing them. Just a helpful tip. If you want a tighter curl in your temple region, use the silver clippies. The curls stay in really well.

Your using the wrong rollers. Buy the plastic, magnetic, snap on rollers with the smooth barrel, and apply setting lotion to wet/damp hair. Nothing else. Let hair dry naturally. You will have smooth, firm, bouncy curls that will last all day until you re-roll up at night. Do not use hair spray or gels, they will make the curls, stiff, hard, and your hard will break off when you try to comb it out.
