What should i do about my hair POOFING?!?!?

well, i have super thick, poofy, and wavy hair...i have tryed gels and creams and stuff to control the poof and none of them work or they make my hair sticky or stiff, i also hve tryed antipoof shampoo and conditioner...IT ALL DOESNT WORK!! the only way to stop it is to strighten my hair (or use a curling iron if i want it to be in curls but not poofy)...and i have tryed lots of strighteners, but none of them work or keep my hair actually straight and the straightness doesnt even last half of a day...i wanna be able to wear my hair down!! please help me!! i heard that CHI straighteners work really well...is it true?!?!? i am not worried about the cost but it is worth it?!?! i also cant find a solution to put in my hair to keep it straight after i straighten it that works...whats good to use? also, should i maybe just get my hair relaxed? i have so many questions...someone help me with my hair problem!!!!

thank god im here to help!!!! gay guys know best hehe

the problem is that your washing you hair with hot or warm water which causes the frizzy poof god i hate it one day my friend told me the trick to it so i washed my hair in cold water it wasnt frizzy anymore but it wasnt straight, the more u sel the cuticle the more it straight you hair.

My hair is exactly like that!

You'll just have to find a really good hairspray.

(I've found none of the straightening shampoos/conditioners work)

Just straighten your hair in layers (pull up your hair in a bun and do the bottom layer first.. so on and so forth..) and spray each layer lightly with hairspray.

My hairspray is called Rave (you'll want the X4 mega or X5)

and it works just great!

Haha or you could just listen to the gay guy! :)

Use Sunsilk anti-poof. It rocks!

guuuurl i have the solution for you! first get a hair cut and have it layered okay. then just buy any straightener make sure it is ceramic though, let your hair air dry after washing it and divided in four sections. Then start straightening one section at a time, but make sure its really hot, pass it like 12 times on each section. make sure you press hard. Then just put a little hair balm and your done, but please do it with time, because it can take a little while. Later on as you get used to it you do it faster and also your hair gets used to it so it doesn't get that puffed up anymore. good luck and plz try it! it really works!
