omg i have really puffy hair and i have to put gel hairspray and muss so it will stay down do u have any ideas on how making my hair really stright without using any of those things thanks

you should get it permanently straightened it lasts a long time(about 9 months sometimes more) its pretty safe and looks nice! or u could also use a frizz control shampoo like pantene frizz control it really works!!

there is a shampoo made by pantene - makes your hair appear straight - I use it because I have puffy hair also - you can also use an oil - sold in most beauty salons called silk therapy (biosilk) by forouk.

get an ionic hairdryer. i have a Conair Ion Shine 1875 and the box says "Clouds of negatively charged ions neutralize positive charges that are in the air %26amp; reduce static electricity which causes fly-away frizzies %26amp; dulls hair. Hair becomes shinier %26amp; more manageable" but i think the results vary depending on how puffy your hair gets. =/

ps. if you comb or brush your hair when it's wet, it's easier to get split ends in that way. i read this on some beauty/health site some time ago which link i forgot now, sorry.

I have really curly, thick, frizzy hair and I straighten it almost every day. The best thing to do is blow dry without a brush, just comb through it with your fingers. Then separate your hair into two inch sections and at about a dime size drop of a de-frizz serum (I use biosilk, i love it and you can find it in almost any salon for about 10 bucks, it makes your hair so soft and gets rid of all the frizz) Then use a flat iron to straighten each section....I go through this process each day and so many people have said they would never guess I have curly hair!!

do not try to work against your frizzy hair. make your hair work for you. my hair is always straight. like a pin. no matter what i do is stays straight. but if i am ok with it so is everyone else. so do cool hair styles with frizzy hair. like a puffy pony tail. or pig tails. or a bun. or about anything else. even get a hair cut so your hair is short and frizzy. like a puff ball. lol.
