My hair is curly, when I put gel or other products in order for it to stay nice......... it gets dry, puffy, and big. I hate it, that's why I ALWAYS have my hair in a ponytail.

use " BED HEAD "Curls Rock!" Curl Amplifier"!! Its like mousse except it doesn;t make your hair harden and it feels soft and it looks really good!!! If you can't get it then use any kind of hair mousse and mix it with some water and put it in your hair and start scrunching your hair with your fingers for both options to get it to look its best.

Use some John Frieda muse, and use hairspray. The muse will make the hair less frizzy and the hairspray will make it stay. I have naturally curly hair, and it gets very poofy. (im half black and half white) So i know what you mean, i dont use gel cause it doesnt really work for me.

I use Aussie Catch the wave mousse and conditioner! it works great. My hair is the same way and leave in conditioner really helps! This is 2x better because it keeps the curl and conditions your hair.
